Remember Bhopal Trust
The Remember Bhopal Trust
The Remember Bhopal Trust was formed in 2012, and its members include survivors affected by the 1984 Bhopal gas disaster and the industrial toxic water contamination caused by Union Carbide, and the activists fighting for justice for over three decades.
The trustees, coordinator, curatorial advisor, designer and fabricator of the trust are unpaid members, and have sustained most of the groundwork and content development required for the museum.
The Trust is committed to support survivors in their efforts to keep the memory of Bhopal alive, and to help them retain control over their own histories and memories. The Trust will organize commemorative activities. The Remember Bhopal Museum is its first project in the city.
